Floating Platform at Semakau Landfill for National Environment Agency

This is one of Singapore’s largest floating platforms completed in March 2015 for the National Environment Agency, Singapore. It consists of 5 modular barges joined together to form a 200 meter long x 20 meter wide floating platform. The prime objective of this project is to facilitate huge dumper trucks to offload rubbish ash to reclaim valuable land in Pulau Semakau. Our engineers had to design and build the structure together with power and monitoring system on board. As the module can be disconnected all M&E services have to be monitored and controlled to ease the operation.
